San Diego Comic Con 2013

Ender's Game

Olson Scott Cards book Ender's Game has been turned into a movie which will be out on the big screen in Nov. At this years San Diego Comic Con the cast and director were n attendance to talk about the upcoming film. Outside the convention hall Lionsgate joined with HGTV to present an exhibit of props from the upcoming movie in an interactive exhibit for fans to walk through during the convention.

Haven Panel

Best gift of Comic Con 2013 was a free ticket to the Haven talk at Nerd HQ. Nerd HQ was located at Petco Park for Comic Con. The area used for all the talked was limited to about 250 people. However if you did not arrive on time then you missed out on your talk as they start setting each talk about 10 minutes before the talk is to begin and fill in all the seats. Once the talk starts no one is let into the area. Our seats were for row 5 however due to some no shows we were able to sit in row 4 for the talk.

San Diego Comic Con 2013

Comic Con has been a very different experience this year with a broken right ankle. Limited mobility has meant for slowing me down on a lot of what I would normally do at SDCC. Have not taken many pictures out on the exhibit hall floor yet but here are a few shots from panels and such on Thursday.
